Our Foundation Solutions:

• Self-Leveling Compound: For concrete or uneven surfaces, we apply a special primer followed by a self-leveling compound. This creates a perfectly smooth and solid foundation for your new floor.
• Plywood Subflooring: For wooden subfloors that require leveling, we use high-quality plywood. This achieves a flat, even surface and prevents any future movement or squeaking.

Wood Floor Installation Methods

There are two main methods for installing wooden flooring: floating and glue-down.

• Floating installation places the floor over a suitable underlay, allowing it to sit freely above the subfloor without being fixed, which provides flexibility and easy installation.
• Glue-down installation bonds the flooring directly to the subfloor using specialist adhesives suitable for both plywood and concrete. When installed over concrete, a liquid damp-proof membrane is applied first to protect against moisture and ensure long-term stability.
